7. Accompanying Guests’ Programme

An accompanying guests’ programme is planned including a trip on the Cairngorm Mountain Railway (www.cairngormmountain.com) on the Monday afternoon. The recently established funicular railway is the country’s highest and fastest mountain railway. It takes just 8 minutes to travel to the summit of the Cairn Gorm mountain.  At the summit there is a mountain exhibition, restaurant and shop plus an opportunity to enjoy views of the mountains.

 In addition to this full-day tours are organised for the Tuesday and Thursday:

Tour 1 - Blair Castle and House of Bruar

Tour 2 - Inverness
