Conference Venue
The 17th International Conference on Laser Spectroscopy will be held at the Hilton Coylumbridge Hotel (www.coylumbridge.hilton.com) in the Scottish Highlands from the 19th to the 24th of June 2005.
The hotel is set in woodlands on the Rothiemurchus estate (www.rothiemurchus.net) in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park (www.cairngorms.co.uk), which encompasses some of the wildest mountain ranges in Scotland.
The location is 2 miles from Aviemore (www.aviemore.co.uk), one of Scotland's main tourist resorts. There are excellent public transport connections to the nearest airport at Inverness, to Glasgow and Edinburgh international airports, and to London.

Aviemore is located on 57º northern latitude and enjoys long summer days – sunset at midsummer after 10 pm. The daytime temperature is typically 15º - 20º, but there is no guarantee of dry weather!
