Excursion 2 – Visit to a Whisky Distillery & Cooperage (www.glenfarclas.co.uk)

For those interested in whisky, this is an opportunity to visit the Glenfarclas Distillery to learn  about the production process in a traditional Highland distillery.  The Distillery has been operating since 1836 and has been owned and run by the Grant family since 1865.  It produces the Glenfarclas Single Highland Malt.  The excursion will also include a visit to a cooperage to see how the whisky barrels are made. And of course no distillery visit is complete without a wee dram!
