Tour 2 – Inverness (www.inverness-scotland.com)

Inverness is the capital of the Highlands.  It has a compact centre that is easy to walk around.   The Old Town is home to a Victorian Market, which is a covered arcade of specialist shops.   There is also a modern shopping centre and several historic buildings (including Inverness Castle) to visit. Highly recommended is also the picturesque walk along the River Ness.
