Aviemore is on the main road (A9) from Glasgow/Edinburgh to Inverness. There are excellent public transport connections to Glasgow and Edinburgh by train (www.nationalrail.co.uk) and bus (www.citylink.co.uk) and daily train service to and from London (www.nationalrail.co.uk).
Inverness airport (www.hial.co.uk/inverness-airport.html) offers services to major UK airports including Glasgow, Edinburgh and London Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton. For details see www.britishairways.com, www.flybmi.com and www.easyjet.com.
There is limited car hire available in Aviemore, but the usual ones are available at Inverness Airport.
